Noble Sol
Temeka Davies - who goes by the artistic name ‘Noble Sol’, is a contemporary and abstract artist. Her love of people, stories, sisterhood, natural beauty and colour is combined into her work and seeps through in multiple ways.
She began creating drawings of black women with the main feature being their afro hair simply to aid the issues of representation and hair within the black community.
Noble Sol grew into a colourful haven for women and people of any age and background. The stories communicated through her bold yet minimal designs are open and welcoming.
Temeka’s aspirations for Noble Sol are to have it as a platform of interaction, a place for stories and experiences to be shared - projected through the mindset of strength, peace and inner beauty.
